Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd continued to build on her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger during the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. For a rematch She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.

Two-sport Brockport's athlete played of both the lacrosse as well as female soccer squads. Norman is a two-sport athlete who was an outstanding soccer player. She was a part of Brockport on the defense side. She was also a good player when it came to reading the offensive plans of opposing teams. This freshman will bring many great qualities in the Lady Lakers in 2012. She has a strong mind and is able to perform at a high standard when it comes down to protecting the ball. This is a big advantage heading into her inaugural season with Finger Lakes. The expectation is that her talent will be a shining light this year, as she's got the equipment needed to make an impact on the field at a more advanced degree. Norman has a degree in the liberal arts and sciences.
